Our story
Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while
On the Amstel, with the waterside terrace and boats sailing past or mooring at our own jetty, Monne feels like a small escape from the city. A place where you immediately step into a different atmosphere and where the holiday feeling arises naturally.



Mediterranean atmosphere
At Monne, we draw inspiration from Mediterranean life: warm, relaxed, and inviting. You can see that atmosphere reflected in the interior, on the terrace, and in everything we create — from the conservatory and veranda to the circular space with its characteristic details.
Monne
Monne was the nickname of Salomon de Miranda, after whom the historic De Mirandapaviljoen is named. With this name, we honor the history of this special place in a way that feels light, personal, and fitting. And let's be honest: we also just thought it was a really nice name for a restaurant.


Our favorite suppliers
We work with a large number of suppliers that we have carefully selected. Not because it is the easiest way, but because we love cooking with products that truly make us happy. In this way, we hope you can taste our love for good ingredients in everything that comes to the table.
